Thank you for shopping with us! Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how we process, ship, and track your orders.
Shipping Address & PO Boxes
To ensure timely delivery and maintain free standard shipping on all orders, please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate. This includes:
- Street number and name
- Apartment or suite number
- Postal/ZIP code
- Recipient name
We recommend using a USPS-verified address: USPS ZIP Code Lookup
We do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information is incorrect, incomplete, or unverified at the time of purchase.
We will ship to PO Boxes via USPS. However:
- Expedited shipping is not available to a PO Box
- Other carrier options may be available
- We reserve the right to change carriers at any time
Shipping Location
All orders are shipped from our facility in Massachusetts, United States.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Shipping method selected
- Package weight and size
- Delivery destination
All shipping prices are shown clearly at checkout before payment. We do not charge hidden handling or packaging fees.
Available Shipping Methods:
- USPS Priority Mail (Expedited service)
- USPS Parcel Select Ground (Economy service)
Customs & Import Taxes
- Buyers are responsible for any customs or import taxes that may apply
- We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing
Shipping Time
Delivery times are estimates provided by USPS and begin after your order has been processed and shipped.
Total Shipping Time = Processing Time + Delivery Time
Orders are generally received within 4–8 business days once dispatched.
Processing Time
- All items are ready to ship
- Orders are processed within 2–4 business days
- Processing days: Monday–Friday
- Orders are not processed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays
Special Note:
- Items that are out of stock and ordered via email, chat, or phone may take up to 15 days to be ready
- Our items are hand-forged, so extra time is needed to complete the order
- Once the order is completed, we dispatch it immediately
- We will inform you if there is any delay in your order
Delivery Time
We ship domestically within the United States and internationally to select countries using USPS. Domestic delivery times:
- USPS Priority Mail: 1–3 business days
- USPS Parcel Select Ground: 2–5 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or holidays.
International Shipping
We currently ship internationally to Canada only via USPS. International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or carrier surcharges applicable in their country. Please note that bladed items (knives, axes, hatchets) may be subject to import restrictions in certain countries - it is the buyer's responsibility to verify that the purchase is legal in their jurisdiction before ordering.
Order Tracking
- Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email
- You can track your order anytime at USPS.com using your tracking number
Shipping Delays
While we do our best to ship orders on time, we are not responsible for delays caused by:
- USPS service disruptions
- Weather conditions
- Holidays
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address Policy
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, The Forge Factory offers the following options:
Reshipping Your Order
- We can reship to the correct address once the parcel has been returned to us by the carrier.
- A flat reshipment fee of $20 will apply to cover shipping costs
Refund Option
- You may request a refund once the item is returned to us.
- The original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund
- Customized or engraved items are non-refundable, unless there is a defect or damage
To correct an address mistake, please email us immediately at Support@theforgefactory.com
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll do our best to update it in time
Delivery & Lost Package Policy
- If your package is lost or missing, you must contact us within 30 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a store credit or reship
- We do not guarantee responsibility for packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier, but we will review these cases individually
- We will assist you in working with the carrier to complete claims, which can take up to 30 days depending on the carrier used
Damaged Parcel Policy
- If your order is damaged upon receipt by USPS:

- Take a photo or video of the damage before opening the package
- For minor or slight damage, you may need to file an insurance claim with USPS
- We are here to guide and assist you through the claims process but cannot process insurance claims ourselves
Reserved Rights Regarding Shipping
The Forge Factory reserves the right to:
- Require customers to use a common shipping and billing address if we cannot verify the order
- Limit, refuse, or cancel orders due to:

- Irregular or excessive returns history involving used, altered, or damaged items
- Potential fraudulent or criminal activity
Similarly, we reserve the right to limit, refuse, or reject returns for customers who fall under the above criteria.
